There are approximately 11,000 business jets in the worldwide fleet with the vast majority of them based in the United States or owned by US companies. The European market is the next largest, with growing activity in the Middle East, Asia, and Central America.USJ has direct access to all jets available for business jet charter internationally. Being a technology based company we have the exact location of jets on the move and are able to match clients itineraries with aircraft moving in the same direction offering a business travel client the lowest cost. The technology employed allows USJ to perform Wyvern Pass safety checks and confirm pilot and aircraft ARG/US jet safety certificates insuring our clients the best. All business and lueasure jet trips have dedicated USJ concierge personnel to handle ground transportation, hotel reservations, in-flight catering, etc.

Since 1996 the term "fractional business jet" has been used in connection with the term business jet. In the last 10 years capital risk and growing costly overheads associated with jet aircraft ownership lead to the development of USJ business jet charter market. USJ allows a business to satisfy their travel requirements on a trip by trip basis, business jet charter on demand, avoiding long term contracts and costly monthly fees for flight crews, hangar fees, landing and fuel surcharges along with monthly jet maintenance expenses. In addition fractional aircraft operate under part 91 of the FAA safety regulations. Contrary to popular belief, business jet charter aircraft which operates under part 135 FAA safety regulations carries higher safety requirements then fractionally or wholly owned aircraft. Business Jet Charter aircraft requires higher level of fuel in the tanks for the same distance trip on the same aircraft which is owned. Chartered jets require longer runways for landings and departures, pilots are restricted to less flight time and weather conditions are not at the discretion of the owner of the jet, rather the governing FAA safety regulations. Clearly the higher jet safety requirements are place on business jet charter aircraft.

The business jet industry groups the jets into five loosely-defined catagories:

Light Jet

USJ has developed a wide range of business jet charter solutions starting with smaller model jets, many far cheaper than existing popular business jet solutions. Many of these fall into the very light jet (VLJ) category and are used by business and corporate clients internationally. The Mustang and Eclipse 500, six-place twinjet (2 crew + 4 passengers) available for business jet charter offer and relatively inexpensive option in the jet charter space for shorter distance trips.
